BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday alleged that the government is conspiring to hand over the control of Bangladesh to another country.
“Now we’re worried whether we’ve our sovereignty as our people can’t do anything without any hesitation and fear.
Public Administration Senior Secretary Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury told UNB on Wednesday. However, the government employees will have to work on July 16 (Saturday) instead of July 4, said Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser.
Now, the Eid vacation will begin from July 1 as July 1 and 2 (Friday and Saturday) are weekly holidays while July 3 is a holiday for holy Shab-e-Qadr. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the country on July 6 or 7 after sighting of Shawal moon, so Eid vacation will begin from July 5.
Besides, public servants will get two days more holidays on July 8 and 9 as those days are weekly holidays.
