The Ministry of Water Resources has opened a hotline number (02-9570028) to receive flood-related information. The ministry has changed the previous telephone number of the control room and extended its services by adding a mobile number to its prevailing facilities, a handout said here.
The control room was opened on July 12 to monitor and collect data on the overall flood situation across the country.
