The government officials are going to enjoy a six-day leave at a stretch from Friday on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr, a largest religious festival of the Muslim Ummah.
On the last day of the office on Thursday, the official activities in the Secretariat were normal.
Visiting different ministries in the Secretariat like Commerce Ministry, Home Ministry, Land Ministry, Education Ministry, Housing and Public Works Ministry, Health Ministry, Food Ministry and all others it was seen that the presence of the officials were normal on the last day of office.
The Eid-ul-Fitr festival will be celebrated either on April 2 or 3 depending on sighting the moon.
On the last day of the office, the colleagues exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The weekly holiday is on April 29 and 30. The first May is the day of International Holiday.
If any government official takes leave on May 5, he or she can enjoy a holiday of nine days at a stretch.
