State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain on Sunday said that the government officials would have to work more sincerely to make Bangladesh a developed one by 2041 and to maintain current economic progress.
He also urged all the authorities of the country’s training institutions to make the institutions more modernized to create skilled employees.
The state minister passed the comments after opening a ‘Vision Garden’ at the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) in Savar.
Farhad said, “The role of the training institutions is very important for playing vital role to enhance skills of the officials as per the needs of the organizations. So, every training institution needs to be modernized to match the developed world.”
“Under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh has become a role model of development in the world. Infrastructural development works have been executed in education, health, economy, human resources and others,” he said.
So, maintaining the development, the use of modern technologies in the training institutions must be increased so that the officials can render their services quickly, he added.
The state minister further said that the government officials are one of the driving forces of the state and to run the country smoothly, the management capacity of the public servants must be increased.
Government officials should work with the spirit of public service mentality by changing their minds, he added.
The BPATC Rector Md Rakib Hossain and Additional Chief Engineer of Housing Division Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, among others, spoke at the programme.
