Govt Officer killed in Bijoynagar road accident

Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer was killed in a tragic road accident in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
He is AKM Ashraf (27), son of late Md. Abdul Karim, retired headmaster of Haripur Govt Primary School, Haripur village (Dakshinpara Masterbari) of Haripur union in Nasirnagar upazila of the district.
 The accident took place when a truck and a motorcycle collided head-on at Aladuudpur area of Chandura upazila on Sunday.
According to eyewitnesses and police sources, the deceased was working as the Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer of Chandura 2 No UP of the upazila.
He was seriously injured in a head-on collision with a truck heading towards Chandura from Akhaura in the opposite direction in Aladaudpur area near his workplace Chandura Union Parishad.
The common people of the area rescued him and rushed him to Brahmanbaria Government Hospital in critical condition. The on-duty doctor saw the deteriorating condition of the patient and sent him to Dhaka for immediate treatment.
He died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Neuroscience Hospital.
