State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said that the government has been maintaining ‘zero tolerance’ policy against all forms of terrorism.
“We are committed to curbing terrorism in the country and that is why ‘zero tolerance’ policy has been adopted,” he said this recently while speaking at the historic Rash Utsav (festival) at Kantajew Temple in Dinajpur as the chief guest.
“Wherever there is terrorism, the government is vocal and we have taken legal actions against the terrorists. We are firmly committed to fighting against terrorism,” the state minister said.
Criticizing the BNP-Jamaat for their misdeeds, he said when the state goes in favor of terrorism, the common people get no security and that happened during the of BNP-Jamaat regime.
With Additional District Magistrate Bariul Karim Khan in the chair, the programme was attended, among others by Manoranjan Shill Gopal, MP.
