The government is implementing 110 development schemes under the Food for Works Programme in Chuadanga district for upgrading the rural road communications.
In this connection, government has allocated 1,130 tonnes of rice for implementing the schemes through building a strong road communication in 4 upazilas of the district.
Official sources said, so far 25 percent works of the schemes have been completed and the rest works to be completed by next June.
The government has decided to build a strong road communications between the upazila and district headquarters for strengthening rural economy.
