Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Prof. Dr. ABM Khurshid Alam said that the government is not thinking of giving a new lockdown even if the Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection increases again.
He said this while exchanging views with journalists at the DGHS on Tuesday.
Dr. ABM Khurshid Alam said, “We have not been given any instructions regarding strict lockdown. However, we discussed following the previous health rules more strongly, and promote them.”
“We have been instructed to avoid crowds in restaurants, transport, wear mask everyone and tourist crowds,” he added.
Incidentally, last year when the outbreak of coronavirus began to increase, the country began to impose ‘lockdown’ restrictions at the end of March.
