State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki said the incumbent government is running it’s all works with giving priority to the development of women.
“The Ministry has already taken a number of projects for the empowerment of women. A diabetic hospital for women and children has been set up at
Segunbagicha in the capital in collaboration with Women and Children Affairs Ministry and Bangladesh Diabetic Samity” said Chumki The state minister said this on Wednesday while inaugurating a 50-bed hospital on ‘women and children diabetes, endocrine and metabolic’ at Uttara.About 1,000 patients will get treatment from the hospital in a day, She added.
Professor AK Azad Khan, president of Bangladesh Diabetic Samity presided over the meeting.
