BSS, Chittagong :
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Saturday said that the present government has brought about changes in conventional education system, considering the importance of practical knowledge and technology-based education in global perspective.
He said the universities should be made into a place of new knowledge, research and innovation rather than just a production house of certificates for higher education.
“The aim of our education is to build up the new generation as the architect of modern Bangladesh so that they can represent the country before the world, and it is not possible through the conventional system of education”, the education minister added.
