Govt develops 358 ACMP graduates for IT sector

The government has developed 358 ACMP graduates (Advanced Certificate for Management Professional) so far through providing world-class training to mid-level managers of IT companies. A senior official of ICT Division said the training of 142 mid-level managers of IT companies will end by December this year. The World Bank financed Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance (LICT) Project of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) under ICT Division has been providing international standard training to mid-level managers of IT companies through the UK based Ernst and Young (EY) and Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University to create 500 ACMP graduates for the ICT sector.
