Post, Telecommunications and ICT Minister Mostafa Jabbar said the government is pledge-bound to reach internet services to each and every household of the country. “All the unions of the country will come under optical fiber network connections within this year except some 772 unions situated in the remote areas,” he said this on Thursday while addressing a function titled ‘Internet Operation Technology’ organised by South Asian Network Operation Group and ISPAB held at a city hotel.
Jabbar also said that initiatives have been taken to provide internet services speedily in the remote areas through microwave and Bangabandhu Satellite 1.
