Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin said the government is committed to prevent corruption.
“The government is committed to prevent corruption. At first, I will make my ministry corruption-free. I will take all kind of measurers to make the ministry corruption-free,” he said this while talking to journalists after offering ziarat at Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) mazar in Sylhet. Earlier, on his arrival in Sylhet Osmani International Airport, former Sylhet City Corporation mayor Badar Uddin Ahmad Kamran, former Member of Parliament Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury, Awami League (AL) Organizing Secretary Advocate Md Misbah Uddin Siraj and other local AL leaders welcomed the minister with bouquet, said a press release here.
