State Minister for Water and Resources Lt Colonel (Retd) Nazrul Islam Hiro (Bir Pratik) said Bangladesh is progressing fast towards development with the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He said the present government has set a glaring instance in various development sectors like education, communication, agriculture, health and power supply There is no frequent load shedding at present, Bangladesh attained second position in weaving industries in the world The country is now surplus in food grains and hope to export 40 lakh tons of rice soon
The State Minister said this while he was addressing as Chief Guest in the annual conference 2014 of Narsigdi Zilla registered Kazi Samity at local Shilpakala Academy here on Saturday.
