Staff Reporter : State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Tuesday said the Home Ministry will give rewards to the people, who help the law enforcers in arresting petrol bomb chargers and arson attackers. “The Home Ministry will give rewards for assistance in capturing those who cause harm to lives and valuables by arson attacks and charging petrol bombs,” he said when a delegation of the newly elected committee of Crime Reporters Association Bangladesh [CRAB] met him at the Secretariat in the city. Replying to a question about blocking five voice and messaging services, he said “We’ve information that terrorists are doing crimes through using these mobile apps. But we are not capable of monitoring the systems. So, we blocked these services for a short time. Hope, we will be able to monitor the apps soon, ” He said any movement cannot get success without people’s participation. “People have no support in the ongoing countrywide BNP-led alliance sponsored blocked programme. So it will not be successful,” the Junior Home Minister said. When a movement lacks the people’s participation, it is bound to fail, he added. Led by CRAB president Isharaf Hossain Isa, the team was also comprised by general secretary Kamruzzaman Khan.
