The present government has achieved incredible success in increasing power generation capacity to become self-reliant on electricity soon and reach power to every house. Member of Parliament from Dinajpur-6 constituency Shibli Sadique said this on Saturday while switching on newly built power supply lines for 340 families of five villages under Ghoraghat upazila in Dinajpur as the chief guest. With the switching of the power supply lines, all residential houses, commercial and business establishments of Sahebganj, Mitali Cluster Village, Zamilapur, Majarpara and Islampur Kumoria villages came under power supply network.
Dinajpur Polli Bidyut Samity-2 of Rural Electrification Board has (REB) implemented construction works of the power supply lines to fulfill another long-cherished demand of local people.
