‘Govt achieves epoch-making success in education sector’

The government has achieved an epoch-making success in the education sector improving infrastructural facilities and providing training, inputs and computers to educational institutions.
Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges Nazmul Hoque Prodhan said this while inaugurating the construction work of the multi-storied academic building of Bangabandhu Dangirhat Adarsha College in Atoari upazila in Panchagarh on Thursday as the chief guest.
The Education Engineering Department (EED) has been implementing the construction of the new two-storied academic building of the institution with various modern facilities at a cost of Taka 1.40 crore.
Atoari Upazila Awami League President Anisur Rahman, President of Panchagarh district JSD Abdul Mazid Babul, Principal of the college Nasir Uddin, its founding Member Basir Uddin Ahammad and Executive Engineer of EED Menhazul Haque spoke as special guests.
Presided over by Chairman of the College Governing Committee Abdur Rob, officials, teachers, students, guardians, civil society members and elite attended the occasion.
The chief guest said improved infrastructural facilities of the college would help flourish the latent talents of the students.
