League leaders Dhaka Railway SC made a good start in their first match of the Super League when they beat Shishu Kishore Sangha by 3-2 goals in the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.
After yesterday’s outcome, Dhaka Railway SC secured 25 points from nine matches while Shishu Kishore Sangha remained with 16 points from as many matches.
Bellal, Abir, Taher of Dhaka Railway SC scored one goal each while Raqibul and Mehedy of Shishu Kishore Sangha netted one goal each.
In the day’s other match, Bachelors SC eased past Police AC by 6-2 goals at the same venue.
Bachelors SC bagged 20 points from nine matches while Police AC earned 18 points from as many outings.
Rubel of Bachelors SC scored three goals and his teammate Mostafizur netted two goals and their colleague Sumon scored one goal.
On the other hand, Rana and Nayan of Police AC pulled off one each.
Tomorrow Police AC will face Shishu Kishore Sangha at 2.00 pm while Dhaka Railway SC will meet Bachelors SC at 3.45 pm at the same venue.
