The the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has asked the Gonoshasthaya Kendra to shut down its Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) laboratory and Plasma Centre mentioning that the two centres do not have approval to detect coronavirus, reports a Bangla news portal.
A press release issued by the Gonoshasthaya Kendra on Monday, said that the director (hospitals) of the DGHS (01712509001) phoned the
Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital director around 1pm on Monday and told you don’t have approval and close down RT-PCR test, blood transfusion and Plasma Centre.
The DGHS director action will be taken through mobile court if continues activities. Approval will have to be sought separately for RPTCR for Covid-19 and blood transfusion and Plasma Centre.
