The Golden Jubilee of Dhaka Dhanmondi Lions Club was celebrated at Army Golf Garden with PID and Board Appointee G. Ramaswamy of India as the Chief Guest on Saturday .
Lion leaders of Bangladesh including PID Sheikh Kabir Hossain and PID Moslem Ali Khan were also present at the programme .
Over 300 members of the club and guests attended the celebration ceremony.
Dhaka Dhanmondi Lions Club was chartered in 1967 and it is one of the first few clubs of the country. The club has a rich past. So far the club has presented four District Governors and Ln. M Nurul Huda present 1st VDG of 315 A1 will take over the office of District Governor for 2018-19.
Dhanmondi Lions Club has been playing a pioneering role from the very beginning for the benefit of the poor and distressed people . Several projects are being run by the Club members.
