The golden jubilee anniversary and students re-union of the former students of the Chittagong Govt Girls’ High School was observed at school premises on Friday arranged by former Students Parishad . City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin inaugurated the daylong programmes by releasing balloons and festoons as chief guest .
Headmistress of the School Mrs. Saheda Akhter presided over it. In his brief deliberations city mayor called upon the former students those are affluent in the society to extend cooperations to the deserving former students those passing miserable life.
City mayor also assures the school committee to mitigate the water logging problems of the school . City Mayor was felicitated by the former students parishad committee by presenting crest and bouquet , sources said.
