In observance of the golden jubilee anniversary of Chittagong Press Club after passing of 52 years of its foundation will be held today .
The daylong anniversary function includes cultural functions, honourary award to the reputed elderly journalists of Chittagong , discussion meeting, drawing competitions of the children have been chalked out . Press Advisor to the Prime Minister and Editor of Daily Observer Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury will inaugurate the day long programmess at the auditorium of Engineers Institute, Chittagong at 11 am.
On the occasion of the golden jubilee ceremony of the press club, awards for reputed journalists in reporting, feature writing, best photographers and the former president , secretary of the club will be given on the occasion.
A get together of the family members of the press club members will also be held , a sources said.
