The 77th Golden Globe Awards came to a close with the war epic ‘1917’ clinching the Best Picture- Drama and Sam Mendes winning the Golden Globe for Best Director. The show that took place at the luxury Beverly Hills hotel saw ‘Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood’ taking home three awards of the five nominations that included Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy and wins for lead actor Brad Pitt who won Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture and director Quentin Tarantino winning Best Screenplay – Motion Picture.
