Bangladesh Jewelers Samity (BAJUS) increased gold price again due to price increase in international market.
The new price will be effective from Friday; the decision came from an executive member meeting of BAJUS held on Thursday at its city office.
According to the notice, each gram of 22 carat gold now will be sold at Tk 4,480 and per vori (11.66 grams) price will be Tk 52,236 which was Tk 50,738 till Thursday. 22 carat gold price per vori was increased by Tk 1,498 in the local market.
18 carat gold price increased per gram to Tk 3,830 and per vori price will be Tk 44,657 and traditional gold price increased per gram to Tk 2,350 and per vori price will be Tk 27,401.
Price of Silver remained unchanged to per gram Tk 90 and per vori price Tk 1,050.
