Renowned television director Badrul Anam Saud’s debut venture on the silver screen “Gohin Baluchor” hit 26 cinemas across the country on Friday .
“Gohin Baluchor” is a love story based in a riverine area. The film stars newcomers Abu Hurayra Tanvir, Neelanjona Nila and Jannatun Noor Moon in the leading roles.
Besides veterans like Suborna Mustafa, Raisul Islam Asad, Fazlur Rahman Babu and talented actors like Jeetu Ahsan, Shahadat Hossain and Shormy Mala, among others, have played important roles in ‘Gohin Baluchor’.
Ahead of the film’s release, a press conference was held on the premises of the Bangladesh Film Development Corpo-ration in the capital. Along with the cast and crew of the film, director Badrul Anam Soud and actress Suborna Mustafa were present at the press conference.
Badrul Anam Soud said about the film’s story, “The story of the film is about the country and its people. It is the story of riverine people and their joy and woes, love and hatred and all of it is surrounded by the nature. The film is a reflection of the conflicts and the harmonies between man and nature.”
Suborna Mostafa, who is also the executive producer of the film, said about the newcomers, “I specially wish all the best for Tanvir, Nila and Moon, because they are new in the industry.”
