Go Green’s jute straw hits BD market

Go Green Bangladesh, an environmental conservation group, has introduced jute straw in a bid to stop the use the single-use plastic straw to save the environment.
The jute straw, made from jute plants, has already hit the market.
The eco-friendly straw can be used for both hot and cold beverages.
After jute made bags and jute made polythene Sonali bags, now jute straw has been introduced as an alternative to the plastic straw.
The organization produces bamboo products including bamboo water bottles, straws, trays and chopping boards.
Now it has turned its focus on jute with the new idea of producing jute straw, which is 100% organic, reusable and disposable.
According to Go Green Bangladesh, they can sell these jute straws both locally and internationally, which can help local farmers financially.
