Bangladeshi Grand Master Ziaur Rahman maintained his 2nd slot in the 11th International Chess Festival 2018 sharing the place with 12 other players securing five points after the 6th round matches at Bhubaneswar of Odisha in India on Tuesday.
Bangladeshi FM Taibur Rahman earned 4 points, Jamal Uddin, Avik Sarker and Jodunath Biswas earned 3.5 points each. CM Chanchal Kumer Ghosh and Tahsin Tajwar Zia earned 3 points each, CM Sohel Chowdhury, Abzid Rahman, Anisuzzaman Jewel, Mezanur Rahman, Tipu Sultan, Sazzad Kishor and Sohel Rana Pritom earned 2.5 points each, Shahnaz Mohammad Faruque, Sadnan Hasan Dihan, Ahmed Walijah and Akmal Hossain Khan earned 2 points each.
