GM Ziaur Rahman of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited earned 3 points after 4th round games of the 13th Parsvnath Delhi International Open Grandmasters Chess Tournament-2015 is now being held in New Delhi.
In the 4th round games held yesterday (Sunday) and Zia beat IM Kathmale Sameer of India. Earlier in 3rd, which was held last Saturday evening and Zia won against WFM Vaishali of India. Another participant Mohammad Manik earned 1 point out of 3 games.
After 8th round of the B Category Rated event Md Raja Mia earned 41/2 points, Md Shahidul Islam earned 3 points and Md Tipu Sultan earned 2 points.
A total of 179 players from 18 countries including 22 Grandmasters, 3 Women Grandmasters and 27 International Masters are participating in the Grandmasters event and total 484 players from six countries are participating in the B Category rated event.
