National Champion GM Enamul Hossain Razi and National Runner-up GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib are sharing second position along with other 22 players after the completion of the 3rd round games of Open section in the Asian Continental Chess Championships-2017 Open & Women, qualifying events of the World Cup Chess-2017 and Women’s World Chess Championship-2018 is now being held at Chengdu, China.
In 3rd round of Open section GM Razib beat IM Tabatabaei M Amin of Iran and GM Rakib beat Fang Yan of China.
In Women’s Section WIM Shamima Akter Liza and National Woman champion WFM Nazrana Khan Eva both lost their 3rd round games. WIM Liza lost WGM Tokhirjonova Gulrukhbegim of Uzbekistan and WFM Eva lost to WFM Ovezdurdiyeve Jemal of Turkmenistan.
