Globe International (GI) Secretary General Malini Mehra on Wednesday called on Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her office here.
The issues of climate change and sustainable development Goals (SDGs) came up for discussion in the meeting, said an official release.
Chaudhury said the present government is working on the climate change issue.
Praising the action plan of Globe International, she said the organization can play a role to prevent river pollution in Bangladesh.
Mehra informed the speaker about the overall activities of her organization and said they are working on climate change to achieve SDGs.
JS Whips Iqbalur Rahim and Mahbub Ara Begum Gini were present in the meeting.
