Staff Reporter: On the occasion of observing 101st birthday of Bangabandhu sheikh Mujibur Rahman and celebrating national children’s Day, GK prepared a drawing competition and discussion led by children. On this discussion, the panel chaired by children, Shahriar Hasan, Arafat Islam, Ifra Ibnat, Sharif Sanjida, and chaired by Jubayer Islam. On this discussion, the children led chair discussed about the birth and contribution of Bangabandhu in Bangladesh history. The discussion and the event started with the national anthem. The children was divided into 3 groups and given three prizes from three groups. For this occasion, GK ordered a 17 lbs. cake, which was distributed among the children, their guardians and the attendees. The CEO of the organization, Dr. Manzur Kadir Ahmed, and senior director, Health and Training, Dr. AKM Rezaul haque was present on the event. The CEO of Gonoshasthaya Kendra said, “the children are stuck in their homes for so long that they lost touch with the real world, and family members of the children should take responsibility to integrate them to the world when it gets normal”
