Rangpur; Food aid has been provided as Eid gift to 1120 destitute and helpless employees in Rangpur. Deputy Commissioner Asib Ahsan handed over the gift to them on Thursday (July 15) at noon. The Rangpur District and Metropolitan Committee of the Bangladesh Shop Owners Association organized the humanitarian assistance.
Rangpur District Council Chairman Advocate Shafia Khanam was the special guest at the distribution of food items, Chief Executive Officer. Food items were handed over to 1,120 beneficiaries keeping in view the social distance. Each packet contains a face mask with rice, pulses, oil, salt, potatoes, dates, sugar, lachcha semai and a disinfectant soap.
