Number of girls is more than boys in Primary School Certificate (PSC) and less in Ebtedaie examination in Barishal division.
The examination started from Sunday and would be ended on November 25, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm every day.
Muhammad Arif Billah, Assistant Director of Barishal Divisional Office of Primary Education Directorate, disclosing this fact said this year total 1, 88,659 examinees including 37,330 Ebtedaie examinees enrolled for participating in examination.
Out of them 1,01,368 girls and 87,291 boys were enrolled for PSC and 13,080 girls and 24,250 boys in Ebtedaie examinations to seat in 527 centers under 6 districts of Barishal division.
In the division number PSC examinees were highest in Barishal and lowest in Jhalakathi district, while in Ebtedaiye examination highest numbers of examinees were from Bhola and lowest from Jhalakathi districts, divisional primary education directorate sources said.
