A girl died after falling into well water in Juri upazila. The incident happened on Saturday afternoon in Chotdhamai area of the upazila.
The name of the deceased girl is Parul Begum (19). She is the daughter of Yakub Ali of Chhota Dhamai village of Purbajuri union of the upazila. According to family and local sources, Parul Begum was mentally challenged. He fell into the well next to the house in the absence of the family around 4 pm. family members After searching, Parul’s body was found floating in the well. Later they informed the police and fire service. On receiving the information, a team of Kulaura Fire Service went to the spot and recovered the dead body of the girl.
Officer-in-charge of Juri Police Station Sanjay Chakraborty said that the dead girl’s body was handed over to the family as there was no complaint.
