Police found body of an 11-year old girl at a home in Batpara area under Bishwanath Upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as as Subarna, son of Nur Miah, Bishawnath Police Station OC Abdul Hai Confirming the matter.
Later Subarna’s body was recovered from the silling fan of the room, he added.
The victim had marks of beating on her body, he added.
Police sent the body to Sylhet Osmani Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
