A mobile court has rescued a minor girl from a brothel in Jamalpur town on Wedneday afternoon.
Police said the mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Md. Abdul Aziz Bhuiyan rescued the girl from the brothel and arrested a pimp Jaya.
The mobile court ordered to hand over the girl to her legal guardian keeping her in safe custody. The court also ordered police to take legal action against the pimp Jaya under woman and child repression prevention act.
Police said criminals brought the girl from Noakhali promising to provide her work and later sold her.
