A minor girl has been abducted allegedly by his cousin from Katabar area in Dhamrai upazila.
Rezaul Haque, officer-in-charge of Dhamrai Police Station, said Amena Akhter, 4, daughter of Babul Miah of Dakhshin Katabar village in Bharadi union, went missing after her paternal cousin, Beauty Akhter, took her outside for a walk on Friday.
Amena’s father filed an abduction case on Monday night as the family members failed to trace her in the last three days.
Meanwhile, police arrested Beauty but could not yet rescue the little girl.
