Under the coordination of noted actress, director and trainer Afsana Mimi Bangladesh Film and Television Academy started its journey in 2015 in the city’s Uttara area. To develop acting skill and direction, the academy was set up. Recently course final performance of first batch of acting department of the academy has been done. Now it’s rehearsal is going on.
To keep request from Afsana Mimi, National Film Award winner director Gias Uddin Selim was present as invited guest to talk about pros and cons of acting with the participants at the academy on February 4. He was present there from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Besides talking about acting, Selim also replied to the questions from the participants also.
Afsana Mimi informed that to inspire the learners Afzal Hossain, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Amitabh Reza, among others, visited the academy.
