Ghasful, a mass-media house, organised a seminar on
Bidhrohi and cultural programme on the occasion of the birth anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam on June 7 at
AS Mahmud Seminar Hall of Daily Star Centre in the city.
The programme began with recitation from Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam’s works by Rabia Sultana Panna. Presided over by Prof Safiuddin Ahmed, renowned academician Prof Dr Saumitra Shekhor, Department of Bangla of Dhaka University, presented the key note paper and the seminar was addressed among
others by Prof Mahmud Shah Qureshi, Dean, Arts and Social
Science Faculty of Gono Bishwabidyalay, Prof Mansur Musa, Chairman of the Department of English and Linguistic of Gono Bishwabidyalay, Poet Muhammad Nurul Huda, former executive director of Nazrul Institute, Parvez Hossain, storyteller.
