Ghana and Uganda were qualified Monday for the final of the 22nd edition of Africa U-20 Cup of Nations (AFCON). Ghana’s men’s U-20 soccer team, the Black Satellites beat Gambia 1-0 in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Precious Boah’s 33rd-minute free-kick handed the Black Satellites the only goal of the game and perfect revenge against the Gambians whom they lost to in their final Group C game at Nouadhibou. The victory puts the Ghanaians in contention for their fourth AFCON title after they won the U-20 trophy in 1993, 1999, and 2009.
