Japan-Bangladesh Group, Prodhan group, German Auto and AK Restoration and Performance Company will make an environmentally friendly factory in Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj district with a cost of Taka 2500 crore.
Salim Pradhan, Chairman of Prodhan Group informed this at a press conference on Thursday at the city’s Lakeshore.
He said that the showroom will be set beside the factory for the car exhibition “Car World”. This showroom will be open for buyer or visitors at 9 am every day. There will also be restaurants, clubs and movie theaters. There will be luxury Relaxing Place. There will be night-time arrangements for car modification and repair service.
The concerned people will be invested Tk 700 crore in the first installment of the project. Employment will be around 1200 people and the second installment will be invested Tk 1750 crore.
Guenter Erwin Klose, AK Restoration and Performance, Company Owner and Director, Alexander Pachara Klose were also present.
For the first time Germany’s car manufacturing and repair plant is going to be launched in the country. It will have manufacturing, remanufacturing, modification and repair facilities. Beside the factory, there will be place for night stay and entertainment arrangements for the owner or clients.
