Prof Dr Christoph Schueth of Technical University (TU) Darmstadt, Germany, met Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at his university office on Monday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, especially the strengthening of bilateral relations through increasing mutual cooperation between the two universities so that teachers, researchers and students can share experiences with each other.
They also discussed the possibility of signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities.
Prof Dr Muhammad Qumrul Hassan of the Department of Geology and
President of Alumni Association of German Universities in Bangladesh and Coordinator of German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher
Akademischer Austauschdienst-DAAD) in Bangladesh were present on the occasion.
