Speakers at a street-corner meeting vehemently condemned the genocide and other massacres in Palestine by Israelis and demanded immediate stop the barbaric acts against humanity on Wednesday.
They viewed that the Zionist attacks were not sparing the children and women or elderly people, Israeli forces were even targeting the offices of international media and places of worships.
If the international platforms and powerful nations fail to stop the Israeli barbarism, they will become more ferocious and wild. Rajshahi City and District units committees of Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee (GDNC) – Committee to exterminate the Killers and Collaborators- and Sammillita Sangskritik Jote jointly organized the human-chain-cum-protest meeting at Shaheb Bazar Zero Point putting forward the demand.
Chaired by local unit GDNC Convener Shahjhan Ali Barjahan, the meeting was addressed, among others, by acting general secretary Shah Alam Badsha, city executive president Prof Sujit Sarker, Central Assistant General Secretary Muhammad Quamruzzaman and local Awami League leader Muhammad Asaduzzaman.
The speakers strongly demanded stricter and urgent global actions to expose Israel to justice fearing its continued barbaric attacks part of a heinous Zionist plan to derive away Palestinians from their homeland, killing everyday innocent people including minor children.
They unanimously mentioned that the Zionist state of Israel has not stopped after grabbing pieces of territories of Independent Palestine one after another and they have taken a scorched-earth policy military strategy to evict the Palestinians.
Valiant Freedom Fighter Shahjahan Ali Barjahan said indulgence of some powerful countries made Israel desperate day by day as the UN Security Council (UNSC) overnight meeting on the atrocities failed to yield any concrete outcome.
He said at least 219 Palestinians, including 63 children, have been killed in Gaza since the latest violence flared on May 10. About 1,500 Palestinians have been wounded.
The Israel also killed scores of Palestinian Muslims during iftar hours during the Ramadan while even on the Eid-ul-Fitr when they carried out the barbaric assaults on holy Al-Aksah Mosque as the Muslims were offering their Eid prayers, Barjahan added.
