Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Saturday said the GDP (Gross domestic product) will be increased by 1.50 to 2 percent after completion of the Padma Bridge.
“Not only people of the region but also people of the entire country will be benefitted from the bridge… The GDP will be increased by 1.50 percent to 2 percent after completion of the Padma Bridge,” he told the reporters while visiting the place of public rally at Kathalbari Ghat in Shivchar of the district here.
Quader, also the general secretary, said the public rally of Awami League has not been organized for elections. “This is Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s own place. It is one of her beloved places. We will win from here in the polls,” he added.
