The speakers at an extended meeting of Gatak Dalal Nirmul Committee (GDNC) Netrakona district unit here on Saturdays last drew the attention of the government for speedy execution of the international crimes tribunal verdicts awarding capital punishments to the war-criminals including Mohammad Kamaruzzaman, Mir-Kashem Ali, Delwar Hussain saidee and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Muzaheed who committed crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971.
“The appropriate time has come now to free the nation from stigma by bringing all the war-criminals to book side by side with executing all the international crime tribunal verdicts”, they said making a clarion call to the pro-liberation forces to forge a greater unity among them by rising themselves above their self-interests for upholding the spirit of the liberation war.
The extended meeting was held at Netrakona Press club here under the chairmanship of Safaeth Ahmed Khan president of the GDNC Netrakona district unit.
