The family of Delwar Hossain, the then executive engineer of Gazipur City Corporation (GCC), rejected a probe report submitted by Turag Police Station in the case filed in connection with Delwar’s murder in May 2020.
Victim’s wife Khodeja Akhter yesterday filed an application with a Dhaka court, seeking further investigation into the case. In the application, Khodeja said the Investigation Officer (IO) probed the case and submitted a charge sheet on May 3 last year against three people, including one of her husband’s colleagues after being failed to find out the masterminds behind the killing.
