A man who suffered burn injuries in a fire incident caused by gas pipeline blast at Sreepur died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as trader Mohammad Mostafa, 45. He hailed from Mastarbari Bazar in Sreepur upazila.
On April 17, a fire broke out at Mastarbari Bazar on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway following a gas pipeline blast during an expansion work on the highway,
leaving 10 people injured and damaging 50 roadside shops.
Six of the injured were admitted to the DMCH where Mostafa succumbed to his injuries at about 3 am.
