A man, who suffered burn injuries in a fire incident caused by gas pipeline explosion at Sreepur, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Anwar,38, an employee of a local textile mill and hailed form Dohar.
A fire broke out at Mastarbari Bazar on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway following explosion of gas pipeline during expansion work of the highway on Thursday evening, leaving 10 people inured and damaging 50 roadside shops, two houses and a mosque.
Six of the injured were admitted to DMCH where Anwar succumbed to his injuries.
