UNB, Gazipur :Additional police super of Gazipur Mizanur Rahman has been withdrawn for beating a constable.The injured constable, Rezwan Kabir, was admitted to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital.Police said the additional SP first hurled abuses at Rezwan and threatened to terminate him over receiving a letter on Wednesday.Later, Mizanur beat him indiscriminately after closing the door of his office. The constable suffered injuries to different organs, including the testicles.Gazipur police DIO-2 M Momin Miah said Mizanur was withdrawn on Wednesday night following the incident.
