The government has decided to relax the ongoing strict restrictions on different matters including public movement and transports from July 15 to 22 on conditions ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the Cabinet Division on Tuesday. However, strict restrictions will be issued again from July 23.
It further said that after the relaxation of the strict restrictions, the strict lockdown will be “effective” again from July 23 to August 5.
Earlier, a notification signed by Information Department Chief Information Officer Surath Kumar Sarkar on Monday informed about the relaxation of the strict lockdown.
The government has been implementing a strict lockdown since July 1 to curb the coronavirus (Covid-19) infection. The lockdown was extended by one point till midnight on July 14.
